Derived from West Africa, our Cut-To-Size Idigbo Timber is a hardwood that has a strength and stiffness comparable to oak wood at a far more affordable price and available cut-to-size at Woodshop Direct. Features a straight to irregular grain and a slightly coarse and uneven texture with a yellow-brown appearance. This wood choice also resists moisture and is fairly resistant against insect attack.

Idigbo is a popular timber for many uses, with good workability for a range of different applications. Can be used effectively with hand and machine tools, without dulling blade edges. The timber is also reasonably good at taking glues, nails and screws while staining and responding well to finishing treatments.
