Yellowish-brown in colour with well marked, reddish-brown growth rings.
Having a medium to coarse texture, this wood is moderately easy to work, but the resin can be troublesome, tending to clog saw teeth and stick to machine tables.
Takes glues, nails and screws well and can be finished to a high standard. The high contrast produced by the colour of the growth rings makes this wood particularly beautiful and means it has a wide range of applications.
Name: Pinus palustris

I wanted some pine for shelves like the ones we already have and Woodshop Direct would cut to the exact thickness, width and length. Brilliant and very efficiently dealt with. Would highly recommend them
