Poplar, or Tulipwood as it's also known, is a relatively cheap wood that can be used for a range of purposes.
Name: Liriodendrun tulipifera
Origin: Eastern North America
Uses: Construction, furniture parts, mouldings and veneer
There is quite a wide colour variation with Poplar, from a cream-white to lime green. When sprayed and finished, it leaves a nice, smooth texture.

Get a project done quickly Reviewed by Mike on 25 Sep 2016
Although the cost of the product is on the high side, the quality of the wood and cutting services makes assembly so much quicker. I would probably use the service again, if pushed for time.

Quick and efficient service....and prompt and efficient response when one piece of wood arrived damaged. Will definitely use again....may cost more than trying to do it all myself from standard timber from B&Q etc, but for an amateur carpenter the quality of finish obtained makes the extra cost worthwhile and the extra expense was worth it to get EXACTLY the dimensions I needed to do a really good job on my project!
